The Hon. Christophe Eken, President of the CCIMC on Monday 21 September 2026 received, in audience, the Minister Counsellor at the Royal Thai embassy in Abuja Nigeria in charge of trade, Mrs. Kanokpun Phattraprinsiri. The courtesy call was part of efforts to deepen trade relations between Cameroon and Thailand. For such relations to be mutually beneficial, both personalities acknowledged the very important role trade chambers in both countries would play in collaboration with the relevant state authorities, as well as periodic exchange trade visits. The Hon. Eken insisted on the transfer of Thai technology to help accelerate the process of developing the Cameroonian private sector, notably SMEs.
The President was accompanied to the audience by the secretary General, Mr. Halidou Bello and some of his close collaborators.
