L’Honorable Claude Juimo Monthé, était une légende de l’industrie camerounaise et africaine et son absence laissera un vide au sein de l’environnement économique du Cameroun.

Nous garderons de lui le souvenir d’un patriote qui s’est distingué par son dévouement indéfectible au développement de l’économie camerounaise dans les années 2000 quand il présidait au destiné de la CCIMA.

En ces moments difficiles, le President de la CCIMA tient, au nom du Bureau Exécutif ainsi que l’ensemble des Membre Elus de l’auguste Chambre à exprimer, à la famille durement éprouvée, les condoléances les plus attristées auxquelles il associe sa compassion personnelle.

The President of the Cameroon Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Crafts (CCIMC) deeply regrets to announce the death of the Honourable Claude Djuimo Monthé, Honorary President of the Consular Institution and Member of the National Assembly, on Saturday 4 April 2026 in Yaoundé following an illness.

The Honourable Claude Juimo Monthé was a legend of Cameroonian and African industry, and his passing will leave a void in Cameroon’s economic landscape.

He shall be remembered as a patriot who distinguished himself through his unwavering dedication to the development of Cameroon’s economy in the 2000s, when he presided over the CCIMC.

In these difficult times, the President of the CCIMC, on behalf of the Executive Committee and all the elected Members of the esteemed Chamber, wishes to express his deepest condolences to the bereaved family, to which he attaches his personal sympathy.
